π³οΈ Elections β 2026
Elections will be conducted for the following positions:
Voting Positions
- Information Secretary: Responsible for official communication, announcements, circulars, responding to queries etc. via email/WhatsApp or any other media.
- Property Secretary: Responsible for maintenance, management, and oversight of Mandir property and facilities.
- Festival Secretary: Responsible for planning and coordinating all religious festivals and major spiritual events.
- Cultural Secretary: Responsible for organizing cultural programs and community engagement activities.
Non-Voting Positions
- Internal Auditor: Responsible for internal audit and financial review.
- Internal Sub-Auditor: Assists the auditor.
- Election Commissioner: Responsible for conducting elections and resolving election disputes.
- Deputy Election Commissioner: Assists commissioner.
- Webmaster: Responsible for managing the official website.
- Editor (Documentation): Responsible for maintaining Library, MoMs, official resolutions, newsletters, inventory and secure archiving of Mandir records.
π€ Collective Responsibility
The responsibilities mentioned above outline the primary scope of each position. However, the Samiti functions as a collective body, and all members are expected to work together in coordination, support one another, and contribute beyond their defined roles whenever required for the smooth functioning and development of the Mandir.
π Nomination Process
You can nominate yourself for any of the above position. While submitting your nomination, kindly clearly mention:
- The post you are nominating yourself for
- A brief background about yourself (experience, involvement in Mandir/community, relevant skills)
- A short note explaining the reason for seeking nomination and how you intend to contribute in the role
- Nominations must be submitted via email to: ElectionHinduMandir@gmail.com
Last date to submit nominations: 11 March 2026
Confirmation of valid nominations: 13 March 2026
No nominations will be accepted after the deadline.
β οΈ Important
Please consider that serving in the Samiti requires serious commitment and dedication of time. Based on past experience, any role may require approximately 15β20 hours per week, depending on responsibilities and ongoing activities. Members are encouraged to nominate themselves only if they can commit sufficient time and effort for the effective functioning of the Mandir.
All Samiti positions are purely voluntary. There is no remuneration, honorarium, or financial benefit attached to any role. Service in the Samiti is undertaken with full Seva Bhaav β in the spirit of selfless dedication, responsibility, and commitment toward Dharma and the Mandir community.
Please note that there will be no elections held for the positions of President, Vice-President, and Finance Secretary, as these positions carry a three-year term. The current office bearers were duly elected in 2025 and will continue to serve their ongoing term.
πͺͺ Voter Registration & Voter ID Process
- Voter Registration Form link will be sent individually to members who have paid membership for year 2025, via SMS from +46 76-051 78 85/ WhatsApp from +46 8 35 72 22/ Email from ElectionHinduMandir@gmail.com and/or helenalundhindumandir@gmail.com
- Members are requested to complete the form promptly so that a Unique Voter ID can be generated. It will be shared with you over email via email from: ElectionHinduMandir@gmail.com
- Only members with a valid Voter ID will be permitted to participate in the AGBM.
- Voter ID will be verified at the entrance before the meeting.

Important Dates
- If you do not receive the registration link by 6 March 2026, and you are a valid member who has paid the 2025 membership fee, please contact the Election Committee with 2025 payment information at: ElectionHinduMandir@gmail.com
- Last date to complete voter registration: 11 March 2026
- Verified members will receive confirmation and their Voter ID by 13 March 2026
- If you do not receive your Voter ID by 13 March, please raise the matter by 15 March 2026 via ElectionHinduMandir@gmail.com
π Participation through Fullmakt (Power of Attorney)
Members who are unable to attend the AGBM physically may authorize another eligible member to represent them through a written Fullmakt (Power of Attorney).
- A member may carry maximum one (1) Fullmakt in addition to their own vote.
- Both the person giving and receiving the Fullmakt must have valid Voter IDs.
- The Fullmakt must be submitted in writing and verified at the entrance during Voter ID verification.
This provision ensures that all members have an opportunity to participate.

- Last date to submit proposals: 6 March 2026
- Proposals must be emailed to: ElectionHinduMandir@gmail.com
- All valid proposals will be presented and discussed during the AGBM.
